The Rising Stars Foundation is extremely proud to support the Inaugural U18 Girls Red River Cup. This event is the first ever inter-provincial, Girls Football tournament held in Canada.
RSF Director of Coach Mentorship and Development Eric Vincent is serving as the
Tournament Director, as well as the Offensive Coordinator for Team Gold. The Rising Stars Foundation oversaw the Head Coach Selection process and planned the selection process for the ID camp. Coach Vincent has a wealth of experience with female football. having Head Coached the St. James Rods MGFA Senior Girls for 3 years and prior to that coached with the Manitoba Fearless as a linebacker coach for 4 years.
RSF Director of Athlete Development Mike Benson also joins Team Gold as the Special Teams Coordinator and linebacker coach. Mike is no stranger to Female Football, having just spent the spring coaching Special Teams for the Winnipeg Wolfpack.
The contribution of the Rising Stars Foundation is not limited to coaching! They are also providing the following support for the Red River Cup:

3 bursaries to help ensure all athletes have a chance to participate
Sponsoring the BBQ at the conclusion of the ID camp
Sponsoring a team meal for Team Saskatchewan during the tournament
